Christmas Dance-a-thon Fundraiser
Remember to bring the envelopes to the Parent-Teacher interviews on November 21. Parent Council members will be at the school to collect and count the money. You can also deposit the money via School Cash Online. If you do that, please ensure you return the envelope so we can give out the tickets.
Thank you to those who responded to our call for prizes. Your support is what makes this fundraiser so fun for the children. Prize donations can still be dropped off at any time this week.

Hay Bales
As we prepare for the inevitable arrival of snow I am looking for 3 bales of straw or hay for our yard. If you happen to have access to this and could deliver it to the school, I would be very appreciative.

News From Catholic School Council
Hi Everyone, my name is Dayna Golledge and I am the Chair of J.L. Jordan Catholic School Council. One of our goals this year is to ensure that all parents are aware of what we are doing and know how to reach us if needed. We have set up an email address that will come directly to myself and Mrs. Perrault. Feel free to use this if you have questions, comments or ideas. [email protected]
I also sit on the St. John Bosco Parish Council, and I can help bridge communication between the school and parish, especially around Sacramental preparation. My child did this last year and it was such a great way to meet people in the parish and understand the process.
I wanted to highlight that the parish has scheduled a First Communion Parent Information Night on Tuesday December 10th at 7:15 p.m. at St. John Bosco Parish. Children who are baptized and are in grade two or older may receive their First Reconciliation and First Communion. Parents need to attend the meeting if they wish to have their children celebrate their First Reconciliation and First Communion.
We will be sending out more information on School Council activities and look forward to engaging with you. As mentioned, you are welcome to contact me anytime throughout the school year as we aim to support and provide a voice for all JL Jordan students and parents.
School Cash Online –Hot lunch orders for December must be entered by Nov 24. Don’t forget that we will be offering Popcorn on Fridays, but you must purchase a tick in advance through SCO.
