Dear Parents/Guardians,
The CDSBEO continues to focus on supporting the health and well-being of students, families and staff, in what has been an unprecedented year. With this in mind, the Ministry of Education has made a decision to defer March Break for the 2020-2021 school year based on advice from the Chief Medical Officer of Health. The planned break will be moved to the week of April 12, 2021.
With a continued focus on the safety of our returning students and staff, the Ministry of Education also introduced additional health and safety measures when schools reopened. These include enhanced screening protocols and masking for students in Grades 1-12, including outdoors where physical distancing cannot be maintained.
We appreciate the ongoing support of our families as we continue to follow important health and safety protocols in our schools.
