February 24, 2021 marks the 14th anniversary of Pink Shirt Day. Pink Shirt Day is recognized world-wide as a day dedicated to raising awareness about bullying, a day during which we educate our youth about forms of bullying and how we can stand up to bullying behaviour.
On Pink Shirt Day, we wear pink to stand in solidarity against bullying, and spread kindness and compassion throughout our community.
This Pink Shirt Day, our focus is working together and treating others with dignity and respect. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected us all and shown the importance of helping one another and advocating for those who need it. Help us to “lift each other up” instead of putting each other down.
