J.L. Jordan Catholic School Council is in place to help improve student achievement and enhance accountability of the education system (O.Reg 612/00). For J.L. Jordan, this includes: funding extra learning tools or enhancements to school programs such as; purchasing agendas for all students, sponsoring buses for school outings, purchasing t-shirts for the We Day conference, consulting on, planning and funding yard improvements. All parents/guardians of pupils at J.L. Jordan are welcome to join Catholic School Council.
Our Catholic School Council has been established and have been busy making plans for the upcoming year. They have a lot of new and continuing activities planned (monthly pizza lunch sales, Scentsy in November, Little Caesars in February and Vessey bulbs in April/May). They are looking for some help to organize these activities. If you are unable to be a member of Council, but would like to help in other ways, please complete the form below and return it to the school.
School Council tries to meet approximately 6 times a school year on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. at the school.
Meetings are a maximum of 1 1/2 hours long and are always open to the public.
Next Catholic School Council meeting is April 24th at 6:30 p.m.
